Referral disclosure

ResortMath is free to use. Some brokers pay referral commissions to sites that send them bookings. Here is which ones pay us, and why it never changes the ranking.

How it works

“View at” buttons take you to the broker’s own site, where you book and pay. ResortMath never takes payment or holds reservations. If a broker has a referral arrangement with us and you book through our link, the broker may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same either way.

It never changes the ranking

Listings are ranked by cost per night and nothing else. We show every broker whose site we can read, whether or not it pays us, and a commission never moves a listing up or down. How the numbers work is on How we calculate.

Which brokers pay us

Right now, none of the links on ResortMath earn a commission. When that changes, this table will say which broker, from the day it starts.

How we calculate

Cost per night is the broker’s total price divided by nights. We rank by it, not by total, so a short trip can’t win just by being short.

Disney’s price is the published rack rate, tax included, for the same villa category and the same nights. Where we can’t match the exact view, we use Disney’s cheapest view for that villa, which makes the saving look smaller, never bigger. Disney sometimes discounts, so the real saving can be smaller than shown. Disney’s rates come from MouseSavers.

$/point is in the small print. The season you travel moves the price about 2×; broker $/point varies about 15%.

Every listing is checked every 30 minutes. When one disappears we say it’s gone: it has almost always sold, but we can’t prove it.
